Halloween was average this year. Strangely enough, I got me some new shoes that day. I'll post a photo later if anyone's interested. So, I had to scrap my human!Keroro costume that day since it was clear I wasn't going to get it done in time. Ended up going as a goth girl of sorts (at least that's what my roommate called it).

Had dinner with my friends. Two of my friends took forever to get their Jedi outfits done, so we missed a dance or two in the area. We managed to take photos since one of my friends, Reese, is an avid photographer. So he was experimenting with lighting and stuff while the guys did poses with their lightsabers.

Oh and I managed to download 6 Hetalia FSTs and a few other songs. So huzzah for around 4 days worth of music now on my iTunes.

Classwise, I had my advising/registration period for next semester. For Winter III, I'm taking two classes about first aid and injury prevention. Winter III is an optional course my school has. Classes happen five times a week for three hours. It allows students to take up a class they wouldn't normally take. My past courses were about the Crusades and Alfred Hitchcock films.

Taking more Japanese courses next semester, along with the second part of the Capstone/Thesis class. Oh fun. Debating whether to take another art course or maybe a history course (I blame Hetalia for sparking an interest in history again!).

I'm sure by now my f-list knows by now that I'm really into shamisens. So the song I'm posting is from the Yoshida Brothers. It's from their new album "Prism" and it's called "紅い鳥～ＲＥＤ　ＢＩＲＤ" . This song is a personal favorite, especially when I need to relax.  It's also a song I associate one of my characters with.

Tomorrow's the day I go back to Oregon. I got most of my packing done, but there's always something else I find to pack. OTL

Watching Ayakashi: Japanese Classic Horror's Bakeneko story arc and the spin-off series Mononoke. Once I get a better internet connection, I'll watch more Keroro Gunso episodes and start Baccano and finish several other series I stopped watching over the summer.

I only have three classes, but I'm going to talk to my advisor about being a mentor for a lower Japanese class. I start classes Monday, so Sunday will be the unpacking and getting items too.

Yeah, seriously, if you feel like it, go for it.  So guess who has to see the dentist again tomorrow because she's got two cavities?

Got my work schedule for next week. Working Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday nights and when I come back, everyone will be asleep. lol.

Went to dinner at Macaroni Grill with my friends. 14 of us total. Went for the "Create your own pasta" option. Linguini pasta with garlic cream sauce, apple-smoked bacons, spinach, pine nuts, and mushrooms. Also splurged and got a strawberry Italian creme soda. Was originally going to Dave and Buster's, but due to bad timing, the line was ridiculous. So we opted to see "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian" which was awesome. *_*

Thursday was my usual shamisen lesson day. This time however, I stayed in Kyoto overnight. You see, the Gaidai students who also take shamisen lessons from Chieko-sensei moved to a small house this month. They're lucky since they get to stay in Japan the entire summer, so they moved from the Seminar Houses to this new place. It's small, but not cramped at all. Woke 8 am the next day and took the train back to the station where I parked my bike, went back home to freshen up, and then to class. Can I say long day was seriously fucking long?

I've been watching Yakitate Japan last night. I watched the first 10 eps, and have the next five ready for me to watch. I even had to eat a piece of toast because it made me want to eat bread that badly.  Also watched Sengoku Basara and 07-ghost as well.

Well, since I'm waiting for the newest Sengoku Basara episode to air, let's kill some time by doing a meme! :D

Hm...maybe I should also watch episode 2 of Pandora Hearts. I did watch the first episodes of BASARA, 07-Ghost and Pandora Hearts. All of them seem very promising. I hope I won't be dissapointed! I just wish they aired a bit earlier, like 11pm or something and not at 1am. B/
