Been taking some medication people in my apartment unit had. Japanese cold medicines are so weak to the American counterparts. They don't even allow Tylenol into the country. (But I somehow forgot to sneak a bottle in when I came back. /headpalm)
Catching up with One Piece, and can I say I honestly find the CP-9 to be awesome? *A* Seriously, I think I have a thing for evil/assassination groups: Akatsuki, Varia and now the CP-9. XD

But hey, I'm so happy that I CAN go to Comic City Osaka since it's the last day of Spring Break. It's the biggest doujinshi convention of this season in the Kansai region. I went to one last semester, but this is even going to be bigger. O__O I'll be raiding the Reborn section like hell.
And then the week after that is the Yoshida Brothers concert. I'm so happy I can see them perform in person. *A*

Fangirling over OTP and RL
Feb. 27th, 2009 10:59 pmI believe all the people on my f-list who enjoy Xanxus/Squalo will like this. So I was visiting the Shijo Animate store before I went to my shamisen class, and I came across these two beauties.
( Doujinshis anyone? 8D )Been rather exhausted this week. And lugging back a shamisen from the train station is not fun. I didn't get back home until midnight Thursday. I had my bike, but it's not like a shamisen could fit in my bike basket and what not.
I won't be around Saturday Japan time since I'm going on a tour of sorts in Kyoto with Chieko-sensei and the other Gaidai students who take lessons from her.
So I found out that the Yoshida Brothers' concert is on the same day as the field trip to see Takarazuka theater. Well, I 've seen it before and how often do you get to see the Yoshida Brothers perform live? So I might give my Takarazuka ticket to someone who's never seen it so they can enjoy it.

What do you get when Miki listens to the Dissidia version of "One Winged Angel" on repeat, have crack conversations on AIM, and a lot of Squal on the mind? That. XD
Went to Tower Records in Kyoto today and bought a Monkey Majik CD and to my surprise, I saw that the Yoshida Brothers released a new album. And then I heard from one of the students who also takes shamisen lessons from Chieko sensei mentioned that they'll be in Chiga in March for a concert. *A* I think it's after the spring break too.
