芸術は爆発だ

Okay, time for the first non-meme entry for the year. xD

Yesterday was one of my friend's birthday. (Lucky woman, she can now drink legally and yet I'm the one craving something alcoholic.)
So five other friends (all girls), b-day girl's mom, and I went to Cheesecake Factory. Tiramisu(sp?) cheesecake was just awesome. (Amy-sempai, I miss your mom's tiramisu!!! DX) And there was FOUR HOURS OF EPIC KARAOKE. I managed to sing "Sakura Addiction" perfectly and I got to sing some Avenue Q songs for lulz.

I finally got my hands on a Yoshida Brothers CD and I had to buy Resident Evil: Degeneration. RE:D is just kick ass. If I was back with my Pacific roomie, Telleh, I'd demand we play Umbrella Chronicles. Strangely enough, I'm more of an RPG fan, but shooting games are fun too.

Knowing how fast a year can go, I might as well list down some goals for this year:

• Sketch at least one item a day.
• Post something up on DA/Y!Gallery one a week (whether it be lineart, drabble, or sketchdump)
• Lose at least ten pounds this year
• Translate "X-Fiamma", aka the short story on Xanxus from the Secret Bullet novels
• Slow down on buying stuff from Animate (doujins, figures, etc)
• Keep in touch with Pacific and Mid-Pac people while in Japan

My cousin gave me this book on Chihuly, a glass maker based in Washington state. His works are amazing and he's known in that field to work on group projects. And it just happens there's gonna be a show tonight where he reunites with the team and they do some awesome stuff.
