Kurutto Mawatte Ikkaiten (Spin Once All Around)
I actually have been on a Keroro Gunso binge. For the past two days, I managed to watch all four of the Keroro Gunso movies and several episodes. I'm gaining more confidence with Keroro's voice after all this. Now to think up of plots or something. (But something without cursed fruits. Really, it's getting kinda old. But if we had a Kururu, he could help with the plot creations with his crazy inventions.)
Makes me wish I got more Keroro Gunso merchandise because that's stuff hard to find in the states. Though, I did manage to find two versions of plushies (one of Keroro that can double as a pillow and a smaller Giroro one). It really does sadden me a lot of people don't know about this series or even roleplay it. orz
Strangely enough, though I don't cosplay, I have this urge to cosplay a human version of Keroro. I've seen many versions of people's idea of how the Keroro platoon would look like as humans. It would probably be a simple one, though I wanna crochet stuff for it. I don't have the skills to knit (does not have special dual wielding needle skills), so maybe some arm warmers or maybe his hat would be good. Especially if I do go to Sakura Con in Seattle. Honestly, I don't know if I'll be able to go or not. Depends on my school schedule and everything. If that con and my Hawaii club's yearly luau happen at the same time, I have no idea what to do since I want to do both.
Still no word on my Project Verde application. I'm getting a little antsy about it, though I heard the mod was sick, so I'm trying to be patient.
This week's work schedule is different from the usual since I'll be working Saturday and Sunday mornings along with tomorrow night. There's also the fact my temple's Obon dance is also this weekend and I'll be helping out again. Plus, I need to write a page's worth about my experiences at college for the temple's newsletter since the person who coordinates it asked me to write one. I'll try to get it done before Friday night.
But regardless, I'll try to find time to participate in Mallowmatey's fourth wall event going on this weeked. *coughsubtleadvertisingcough*
There's a little more than two weeks left until I go back up to Oregon for school. I'm kinda excited to go back since I get to see Telleh and the gang and won't die from boredom as much.
Plus, I get to be away from the house until late December. As horrible as it sounds, there a lot of times I don't want to be at home. It's not about the house cleaning I do with Mom every vacation I'm back, it's more about the family drama. The tension between Grandma and Mom is just aggravating. I'm either caught and used as the guilt-tripping trigger for their argument or I just have to hear them everywhere I go. I'm running out of patience with those two and is this close to throwing them at a family counselor. Then again, it doesn't help that Grandma keeps shutting herself in, driving herself crazy and rejects any help we try to give her. She just refuses to change and it really does sadden me.
Also celebrated two birthdays back to back this week. Tuesday was my cousin Jacob's birthday. He turned 4 and just started preschool Monday. It's hard to believe it's been a little over a year since Aunty brought him back from China. He's quite adaptative to changes for someone his age, so I think he'll do just fine. Wednesday was my friend Grace's b-day. In both parties, there was ice cream cake and good good.
